Blake McMeans

Blake McMeans, once a top-ranked high school tennis player, faced tragedy when his father unexpectedly passed away when he was 17. Struggling with grief, Blake turned to alcohol, leading to a near-fatal car accident. Despite being in a coma for nearly four months, Blake survived and embarked on a challenging journey of physical and cognitive recovery. Now, he channels his inner strength into preventing others from making the same mistake through his nonprofit, the Blake McMeans Foundation and Promise Tour. Through educational initiatives, Blake spreads awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving, inspiring thousands of students to make a promise to not drink and drive. Today, Blake is a leading advocate for drinking and driving prevention in Tennessee, emphasizing the importance of making healthy choices in life.
